Salcido Enterprises' flagship site, completed May 2018, 10MW, in the Pangborn Business Park near Pangborn Memorial Airport, East Wenatchee. GeekWire (2018) describes it as the company's main Bitcoin mining facility, powered by Columbia River hydro via Douglas County PUD. Founder Malachi Salcido is the largest independent crypto-mining operator in the Mid-Columbia Basin (~11.5MW company-wide as of Sept 2025 across Chelan/Douglas/Grant counties). CAVEAT: a June 2026 Wenatchee World profile quotes Salcido saying the company is now "quickly becoming AI compute with a little bit of crypto currency" company-wide, Pangborn's current exact crypto-vs-AI workload split is not independently confirmed, though it is still referenced (via a 2021 bitcoin-mining-servers photo) as the company's bitcoin site in that same 2026 piece. GigaWatt's former (now-defunct) mine was also sited in this same business park, do not conflate the two; they are separate parcels/operators.
