Operator states the expansion added both liquid-cooled and air-cooled infrastructure; the announcement does not describe the heat-rejection circuit, so the closed-loop-vs-evaporative question is unresolved. As of October 2026, the operator's tech spec sheet lists DC1 cooling as "Kyoto Wheel & Chilled Water" at 500 tons per floor without naming a heat-rejection method, so the cooling type stays unknown.

Operator announcement dated 2025-09-24 (retrieved 2026-09-09) states a 4 MW expansion; that is the increment added, not a facility total, so it is not recorded as the facility's capacity. The announcement states liquid- and air-cooled capacity aimed at GPU clusters and AI inference, hence an AI classification of mixed use for a general-purpose colo that explicitly sells AI capacity.
