Notes on the record
Multi-building campus planned on the former Northstar Center Subdivision north of Williston, along US Highways 2/85 a few miles west of Love's. It is focused on cloud computing rather than crypto mining. The plan has three phases: phase one targeted by end of 2026 and full build-out by 2031 (KFYR, March 2025). The Williston Herald (May 2026) reports a planned $10B investment, which the developer splits into construction and IT hardware. The city notes that approved documents do not guarantee the facility will be built. No construction start is confirmed. Coordinates are the Williston town point (approximate). This is a separate project from the existing Atlas Power site west of Williston.

Distances are between recorded coordinates, many of which are a city or county centroid, so treat them as approximate. Cumulative load on one utility and one aquifer is the question a planning commission rarely asks.
