Capacity figures differ between sources: Baxtel states an initial 2MW phase scaling to 10MW, and The Rapid City Post (February 2026) reports Sequitor Edge's Victoria Blatchford as saying the initial buildout, one data hall, will require up to 2 megawatts, scaling up to a maximum of 10 megawatts if five data halls are eventually constructed; KOTA TV separately reports 15MW for the same project (also citing a 1.3 PUE design target vs. an industry average of 1.8-2.0). The initial 2MW phase is recorded as planned capacity; the 10MW maximum and KOTA TV's 15MW are not. Tier 3 edge computing facility, greenfield, an initial ~30,000 sq ft building on a 1-acre footprint within a 10-acre site, expandable to five data halls across 7 acres. Construction was reported (by Baxtel and KOTA TV) to begin late summer 2026 with a roughly 14-month build targeting a 2027 opening; none of the sources checked (as of 2026-09-13) confirms construction has actually started. Coordinate is an OSM Nominatim road-level geocode of S Highway 79, Rapid City -- not a confirmed parcel.
