Originally developed by AAIM Data Centers (CEO Anthony Levesque) as 'AAIM Nebraska 1' on a 2.5-acre parcel in the Mission Critical subdivision along East 11 Road / a future Kremer Avenue address, Aurora, Hamilton County -- groundbreaking Dec 2023, targeted operational spring/Q2 2024. Initial capacity 5MW with a first-year target of 15MW (AAIM's own stated plan, per the Aurora News-Register, fetched). Fortitude Mining Holdings (Zcash-mining subsidiary of Digital Currency Group / Barry Silbert) now lists Aurora as one of its OWN three Nebraska sites (confirmed via a directly-fetched Investing.com article: 'The Prosser facility is the company's third Nebraska location, joining sites in Grand Island and Aurora') -- i.e. operator has changed from AAIM to Fortitude at some point between the 2024 launch and August 2026, though no fetched source explicitly narrates an AAIM-to-Fortitude sale for Aurora specifically (unlike Prosser, where the AAIM-built specs match a later Fortitude acquisition almost exactly).
