Mickelsen Safeguard Complex ('the Pyramid') near Nekoma, Cavalier County, ND from the Cavalier County Job Development Authority (signed July 2022, closed Dec 2022) and is redeveloping the ~184-193 acre site into a data center, up to $500M planned. Bitzero's June 2025 press release states 2.5MW currently live, 30MW prepped, up to 300MW potential. A Feb 2024 Bleeding Heartland investigation flagged due-diligence concerns (2023 CEO resignation, foreign-ownership ties, unpaid CCJDA bills); site is real and multi-source confirmed, but self-reported operational MW is company-sourced, hence confidence=reported. ~90mi NW of Grand Forks in Cavalier County (built to defend Grand Forks AFB).
