    Proposed
Project Silver Fox, withdrawn in April 2026, is back before the public with a revised plan from Panattoni Development and Ferreira Construction. The changes are a 'waterless' design, a reduced footprint and landscape screening, and the developers held an open house on 2026-09-21. The Indiantown Village Council will decide on the site plan; the developers say the project already qualifies under existing industrial zoning. Source: WFLX

Power and water

Panattoni's Adam Kramer described cooling through 'a closed-loop water system where a sealed piping network of water or coolant circulates continuously ... without being exposed to outside air or constantly replenished' (TCPalm). WFLX reports the revised plan marketed as a 'waterless data center' that would not use Indiantown water. Under the schema tie-breaker the recirculating circuit makes this closed_loop.

Notes on the record

A roughly 2-million-sq-ft AI data center campus proposed in the Village of Indiantown and withdrawn by the applicant. Separate from FPL's Tesoro Groves PUD on Kanner Highway, which FPL states is "a planning framework for future development, not a specific project" and is therefore not tracked here as a facility.

What the record does not establish, and the document that would

In every fight on our tracker the decisive fact came out of a public records request. These are the requests for this site.

  • Tax abatements or other public subsidy
  • Which utility serves it
Which document closes each gap
Tax abatements or other public subsidy
The abatement, PILOT, or development agreement approved by the county, city, or development authority, and the state's data center sales tax exemption certificate if one was issued.
Which utility serves it
The electric service agreement or the utility's filing with the state public utility commission.

Distances are between recorded coordinates, many of which are a city or county centroid, so treat them as approximate. Cumulative load on one utility and one aquifer is the question a planning commission rarely asks.
