Notes on the record

DELIBERATELY LOW CONFIDENCE. The only evidence is a April 16, 2026 Times West Virginian report identifying two containers on the plant premises that appear to match the BIT-Ram Mighty POD, a 30-foot containerised mining unit, via Google satellite imagery and reverse image search. Counsel for AMBIT, the plant manager and owner Horizon Ventures all declined to comment or did not respond. The paper also reports AMBIT billed American Projects Development nearly $6 million in March 2026 for "640 MWh Power use" against a Mon Power PPA covering 80 MW. Context: the WV PSC rejected a 2021 to 22 American Bituminous proposal to exit its Mon Power contract in order to monetise the plant through cryptocurrency mining. No capacity is recorded, container counts are not a sourced megawatt figure. Do not promote this record's confidence without a named operator or a filing.
