Galaxy has converted the site to AI/HPC hosting for CoreWeave under a 15-year lease signed March 28, 2025; ERCOT has approved 800 MW for the site (up from the original 180 MW mining build). Bitcoin mining is reported wound down (equipment removal/demolition began Q2 2025) ahead of the CoreWeave conversion, no source found describes concurrent mining and AI operation. The $1.4B figure is a project-financing debt facility (36-month term, secured by Phase I assets), not total investment or deal value; Galaxy separately committed $350M equity, investmentUsd is deliberately omitted rather than picking one of these ambiguous figures. A separate, unreconciled $460M figure appears in one lower-confidence source and is not repeated here as fact.
