Opposition and litigation at this site

Nothing on record as of October 4, 2026. No lawsuit, organized opposition, or contested hearing over TerraVolt Southeast Idaho Data Center Campus (Raft River) in Cassia County, Idaho appears in the sources this registry tracks. If you live near this site and something is happening that this page does not show, that is worth telling us. Send us the document and it goes in the record with the source attached. For sites where opposition is already established, see every contested site we track.

A new status, a permit, a reception finding, or a lawsuit. Nothing else, ever.

Power and water

Behind-the-meter natural gas plant on the Northwest Pipeline, with firm supply of 55,000 MMBtu/day. The initial phase is described as 200-240 MW of power for data center customers; that is a power-plant target, not a measured IT load. The 10-Q (period ended 2026-03-31) reports a $3,832,500 gas reservation fee and a letter of credit of up to $6,000,000. It also says power-plant design and environmental documents were to be submitted to state agencies by mid-2026.

Notes on the record

Location: the SEC filings say only 'Southeast Idaho on the Northwest Natural Gas Pipeline'. The Raft River siting comes from Idaho legislators quoted by BoiseDev (March 2026); the governor's office referred BoiseDev's questions to Cassia County's economic development agency. The pin is the OpenStreetMap 'Raft River' locality node near I-84/I-86 in Cassia County. It is a representative point only; no parcel has been disclosed. According to the 10-Q, TerraVolt has only a preliminary joint-venture agreement with a landowner. It expects land-use and conditional zone-change approvals by year-end 2026 and construction approvals in Q2 2027. the capacity figure is omitted because the only stated figure is a 200-240 MW range for the power plant. This is unrelated to the separate CalEthos Lithium Valley record in California.
