Opposition and litigation at this site

Nothing on record as of October 28, 2026. No lawsuit, organized opposition, or contested hearing over Foristell I-70 Data Center Site (216-acre annexation) in Foristell, Warren County, Missouri appears in the sources this registry tracks. A new status, a permit, a reception finding, or a lawsuit. Nothing else, ever.

Notes on the record

Out-of-state firms representing two unnamed data center developers contacted Foristell in May 2025. This record is the ~216-acre annexation site: R&R Holdings 95 ac, H. M. Boegeman Realty Co. 89 ac, Longhorn Property Management 32 ac, zoned agricultural in Warren County on the north outer road of I-70. A second ~240-acre site south of I-70, east of the American Food Groups plant, already inside city limits, is NOT recorded. The city refused to sign NDAs. No developer, end user or capacity is disclosed. As of October 2026, no fetched source states the annexation vote outcome. Minutes of the Board of Aldermen's April 20, 2026 meeting record a resident saying the data center "pulled out on the north site" (the minutes do not confirm this) and a vote, decided by the board president's tie-break, to refer a data center moratorium to the Planning & Zoning Commission. Coordinates are the Foristell town centroid (approximate).

Cooling method and water use
The water service agreement, any groundwater appropriation permit, and the mechanical narrative in the site plan.
Tax abatements or other public subsidy
The abatement, PILOT, or development agreement approved by the county, city, or development authority, and the state's data center sales tax exemption certificate if one was issued.

Distances are between recorded coordinates, many of which are a city or county centroid, so treat them as approximate. Cumulative load on one utility and one aquifer is the question a planning commission rarely asks.
