Notes on the record
State government Tier II data center, leased from Pfizer for $1 a year in Building 230 of Pfizer's Groton research campus under a 2014 agreement. It serves roughly 50,000 state personnel and pairs with a Springfield, MA site. The contractor's fast-track renovation covered 9,000+ sq ft, including raised floor, electrical work and four replacement CRAC units. Coordinates are a Census geocode of the Pfizer Groton campus address on Eastern Point Road, not Building 230, so precision is approximate and no street is recorded. Not the Pfizer or NE Edge hyperscale proposals.

- Cooling method and water use
- The water service agreement, any groundwater appropriation permit, and the mechanical narrative in the site plan.
- Tax abatements or other public subsidy
- The abatement, PILOT, or development agreement approved by the county, city, or development authority, and the state's data center sales tax exemption certificate if one was issued.

- Land area
- The rezoning application, the plat, or the deed recorded with the county.
- How the community has received it
- Planning commission and governing body minutes, public comment records, and any petition or lawsuit filed in the county.
