Google's own site states a Dorchester County 'opens 2024' milestone, the same one noted on the Google Ridgeville Data Center (Project Dawson) record; because St. George/Winding Woods and Ridgeville are both in Dorchester County and the source does not disambiguate, it applies identically here and no status change is asserted. Dorchester County Economic Development's September 26, 2024 release says Google 'broke ground on two new data center campuses in Dorchester County', in Ridgeville and at Winding Woods Commerce Park in St. George; Data Center Dynamics (October 2025) refers to 'the continued construction of its two new campuses in Dorchester County'; the Charleston Regional Development Alliance (October 2025) calls them 'projects that are now under active construction'; and Dorchester County's data center fact sheet (archived copy captured 29 July 2026) says 'The data centers are being built in phases'. As of October 2026, no source found describes the Winding Woods campus as operational, so it remains listed as under construction. As of September 2026, no water/cooling, address, jobs, or subsidies data was found for this site, and no investment figure specific to this campus was found. Live 5 News (WCSC) reported in October 2024 that a $510 million project would build both Dorchester County campuses, one in Ridgeville and one in St. George, and the September 2024 state announcement gives $2 billion for the two campuses combined; whether any part of the $510 million belongs to this campus is not settled, so no investment figure is recorded. Google's own site's '$13B invested in South Carolina since 2007' and 'Google signs 225-megawatt renewable energy deal' (2023) figures are both explicitly not attributed to any single facility by the source itself, so neither is assigned to this site's investment, capacity or energy fields.
